Dr. Yang is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. She is currently a member of the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Yang completed her Internal Medicine Residency training in 2013 at Kingsbrook Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. She then moved to Washington, DC and pursued her Nephrology Fellowship training at Georgetown University Hospital.
After completing her Fellowship, Dr. Yang provided comprehensive Nephrology care for patients in Florida, especially in the geriatric population. She has handled a variety of cases involving resistant hypertension, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and kidney transplantation.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Yang had extensive experience in medical research and published more than twenty peer-reviewed articles. She was a research faculty member at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2008-2010.
Dr. Yang feels strongly that the secret of the care of the patient is in caring for the patient. She is dedicated to working closely with her patients to improve their health.
